Crisis Treatment vs. Preventative Treatment

Preventative maintenance can save you.

Crisis treatment is defined as going to the doctor when there is a problem; pain or strange sensations in the mouth. Preventative treatment is difficult for many to maintain. Dentists are not at the top of the list as ‘things to do.’

However, ask any doctor and preventative treatment is at the top of the list for health and long lasting teeth. Why? Two  very big reasons:

  • preventative treatment catches small problems before they become big ones
  • crisis treatment is expensive

“Don’t fix it if it isn’t broken” does not apply to your teeth. Many problems, including tooth decay, does much of its damage before it starts to hurt!

Which would you rather pay for, a small filling, or a root canal?

Consider us for your preventative dental care. Dr. Potts and Dr. See like nothing more than helping people, and creating long-lasting family relationships for the dental health of your entire family.
