We offer emergency phone consultation, 24 hours of the day. We have dentists available to prevent further damage and set things right.
Questions you might have.
Is it the same cost as normal working hours? No. There are additional charges for emergency treatment.
Should I drive myself? If possible, have a loved one drive you. The cause of your injury might have been a fall… and if that’s the case, your teeth might not be the only thing damaged.
Should I call if all I have is pain? Yes.
— Procedure – Follow this! —
- If you’re bleeding, grab a clean cloth and apply pressure. It doesn’t have to be sterilized, but the cloth should be clean. Take and gently apply pressure to the area.
- Sit down and take a moment to think. Examine your body for other injuries, and take a moment to think. What happened? Are you woozy? Do you have other injuries?
- Call 911. Whether or not you have other injuries, you should call 911. Then call us.
- Call us. Here is our number: 805.388.3319 – put it into your cell phone now so you don’t have to search for it.
- Find someone to drive you to emergency. We know we said it before above, but don’t take the chance with your life; get someone to drive you to our office (and the emergency room the night before).
- Don’t forget your insurance card. Don’t go hunting for change of clothes. Get to emergency as soon as possible.
