Pets & Their Teeth

Did you know that animals living in the wild are naturally protected from tooth decay. Whether they are herbivore, carnivore or both, they only eat raw food and drink nothing other than water.
This is also the reason why many pets, including dogs and cats, can get tooth decay. Most of the food they eat, such as pet food and biscuits, are processed to some degree and contain refined sugars, which is bad news for their dental health, as it is for ours.
Pets are our family and it is just as important to brush and take care of their teeth as it is our own. (That includes regular Vet check-ups, as well). Ask your Vet for recommendations for your pet's oral care.
