First Visit Expectations
If you're like most patients, you appreciate being informed before arriving at the dentist. Below is an overview of what you can expect during your first visit to Potts Dental.
Let's get to know each other
A new patient can expect easy parking, a friendly welcome tour and a gift upon arrival. During your first visit, our well-trained staff get to know you, your goals, and any concerns you may have regarding treatment. In the time we spend togett1er, we encourage you to ask questions, express your concerns, and share with us anything you want us to know to help make your care as individual as you are.
Part of getting to know you and providing safe, personalized support involves reviewing your medical history. Certain medical conditions and medications and can influence your treatment protocols - so you will be asked to provide a list of your medications and their dosages (Including vitamins and supplements).
Next. a full-mouth series of x-rays and a comprehensive oral exam of your teeth, gums, mouth, and jaw will be performed, including a non-Invasive oral cancer screening.

And if you haven't been to a dentist in a long while, please don't worry. You've made an important decision - no need to feel guilty!
Once your entire exam is completed, Dr. Michael Potts or Dr. Derek Potts will talk with you about their findings. Together you can create a healthy, effective treatment plan that best meets your dental and personal requirements. We can prioritize and stagger your treatments to give you the smile you need In a timeframe you can afford. Finally, we want you to know we will go above and beyond to make you feel relaxed and safe. Not only is your physical comfort important to us, but your emotional comfort Is as well. So, come in, recline and unwind - you're in great hands.

If you are a new patient to our office, please visit our Patient Forms page to download our new patient bundle with forms that will need to be filled out when you arrive at our office. Printing them, filling them out and bringing them with you will allow us to attend to your medical needs more quickly than completing them on your arrival. For your convenience, we accept cash, personal checks, money orders, and most major credit cards. Payment is expected at the time services are performed. Feel free to contact our office if your treatment plan requires more comprehensive dental work and you want to discuss financial arrangements.
We accept all PPO insurance's and participate with the networks listed below. Please contact us for details. We look forward to hearing from you.
